'Ntoried Expressions!

Oral history informs of the fabled capability of masks to alter their appearances in order to suit the ceremony at hand. It was said that the masks never showed you the same "face" twice! Same fable applied to other important artifacts as well.

Sometimes movements were added, whereby the spirits were said to have been able to move themselves or shift their positions. At other times, they were said to have been able to send subliminal messages and/or omens, which the spiritual leaders would then interpret to the people. Of course in any faith based religion, anything is possible!

With the modern day camera at hand, we have duplicated the ''faces" of a few of our masks. Hope you like them. We may make additions in the future.
